Days of the Ching Pao A Photographic Record
Days of the Ching Pao, which literally translated means "days of the air raids", is a graphic depiction of the Flying Tigers of the 14th Air Force role in the victory against Japan." Lots and lots of B&W photographs as well as document reproductions and 14 squadron patches reproduced in full color. There are plenty of group photos. In the table of contents, squadrons singled out and written about are the 23rd, 118th, 16th, 528th, 11th, 22nd, 308th, 12th, 21st, 35th, 317th. These are Bomber squadrons, Fighter squadrons, Reconnaissance, etc. Plus sections on Work and Play, Damage Assesment, Assorted Documents and Pictures, Decorations, Aircraft in China.
