The history of the Border Regiment (The 34th and 55th Regiments of Foot) from 1702 to 1959. The book features the units noteworthy campaigns and battle honours from the Caribbean, the Peninsular, the Crimea, the Boer War and through to France and Flanders, and Gallipoli and Macedonia in the Great War. There is a colour frontispiece illustrating the Queen's Colour and the Regimental Colour of the 4th Battalion.
