Wear to boards consumerate to age but not excessive. Over 1,500 highly illustrated pages in total with b&w photos/illustrations and colour maps throughout. Volume V finishes with the siege of Kut, Iraq 1916. The complete set ran to 8 to 9 volumes depending on the edtion.
