Crimean Uniforms British infantry
The text is illustrated with over 100 pictures, carefully selected from contempory sources, and many previously unpublished. Several are from drawings actually made in the Crimea, which will be new to many students of the period. The uniforms and equipment described in the work are summarised in two full colour plates comprising twenty figures of officers and men of the various infantry regiments, at different stages of the campaign drawn by the author.
