The American HEMTT 10-ton truck family has served since its introduction in the 1980s with great success with many U.S. Army units worldwide. Since the basic variant with cargo bed, the M977, has been introduced, many specialised variants and modernisation efforts followed. This publication shows, for the first time, the historical and technical development of this series of vehicles, from the M977 to the M1120, in hitherto mostly unpublished photographs and with up-to-date information.
