The Sledge Patrol
Tells the story of the 'smallest and strangest' campaign of WWII, which took place on the NE coast of Greenland, involving Atlantic weather reports, the German occupation of Denmark, and the North-East Greenland Sledge Patrol. The Danish Governor of Greenland established the North-East Greenland Sledge Patrol to patrol the coast by dog sled and bring in the first possible news of any German landing. When a German expedition reached the coast in 1942 they were discovered by the patrol and the battle began—or did it?
