Dunkirk: The Incredible Escape
In May of 1940, Britain faced the greatest military disaster in its history. The British Expeditionary Force, which included nearly all the country's combat ready troops had been sent to France to help stop the armies of Nazi Germany. The French Army had collapsed and the BEF had been driven back and was trapped against the sea at Dunkirk on The French coast. A plan was hastily devised to despatch ships and boats of all kinds and sizes to Dunkirk to save some of the troops.
