Churchill's War Volume 2 : Truimph In Adveristy - Signed
This is the 2nd volume of David Irving's history of World War Two, which relates the middle period of that war. Using diaries and records never before published, including previously secret British government files, he takes a close look at how Churchill's decisions to prolong the war against Germany led to the ruin of the British Empire. Churchill's arrogance with his own ministers, and his subservience to both Moscow and Washington, are brought out clearly. Though this book makes a stupendous addition to the knowledge of WW2 that is now available to the public, Irving himself points out that not all the dirty secrets have yet been told.
