Praga Export Light Tanks

To fill the niche between its successful line of tankettes and the heavier TNH/LT vz.38 Light Tank series ÈKD developed a new series of similar light tanks for export under the company designations of LTL-H, LTP and LLT from 1938 onwards. These tanks would see service with Switzerland (Pzw 39), Peru (Tanque 39) and Slovakia (LT-40), details of which, including their combat careers, may be found within the pages of this profile by Vladimír Francev. The book’s 88 pages feature many black and white period photographs as well as 6 pages of colour photos of preserved tanks, including the crew’s fighting and driving compartments. The book also contains 5 pages of scale drawings, 1/35th scale, together with detail drawings of components and features of the light tank and 5 pages of colour art of the user nations. The book concludes with an 11 page technical description of the tanks. The text is fully bi-lingual in Czech and English and is printed on good quality art paper with glossy laminated covers, softcover.
