Collecting World War II German Military Identification Discs

This publication is devoted to the collecting of World War II German military identification discs. All commonly encountered discs are detailed along with many of the rarer examples. The reader will find information and examples relating to the three main services, along with the Waffen-SS and other smaller organisations.

Magnified photography is used, giving the reader the chance to assimulate various stamping styles, and have a clearer understanding of how identity discs were manufactured and regimentally stamped.
Of particular use to the collector of identity discs, is an A-Z dictionary of abbreviations encountered on identity discs. This dictionary shows the abbreviation along with the full description in German and translation to English.
