Bayonets At St Cloud

Tells the story of Napoleon's departure from Egypt and his overthrow of the government of France in 1799. Napoleon had regained the support of his plague-ridden and mutinous troops - and was able to drive out the elected representatives at bayonet-point from the Orangery of St Cloud. But his coup d'etat almost failed because of the men who surrounded him.
