The German Army 1933-1945
The first English language organisational history of the German army looking at the whole army, and in detail. The book analyses the higher commands (OKW., OKH) and then covers Army Groups, Armies and Corps, with details of where they served and when, their component formations or units and their officers. At Corps level all divisions are included (and their equivalents such as Kampfgruppen). Also includes fortress commands and Feldkommandanturen as well as artillery commanders. Used by instructors at the Joint Services Command and Staff College and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as well as at various universities.
