The Campaign in North Africa Part III
This is the third and final volume of the trilogy of the war in North Africa from the point of view of British forces. It covers the period from December 1943 until the end of the campaign in May 1943. All operations are detailed, together with comments on all arms and their role in the campaign. It also gives an analysis of enemy methods, and has a section on infantry-tank cooperation, which was much better than that of the early part of the campaign. The whole series will make a welcome addition to the library of anyone interested in the campaign, and the methods used by the British and the Germans in fighting in the desert.
