German Tanks of WWII in Color/Colour
As the title suggests this book is packed with good quality colour photographs. The text describes the history of the tanks, their performance and features. Most of the popular tanks are covered and some support vehicles are illustrated as well. Almost all of the photographs are taken of specimens in museums and private collections in America and Europe. Although many vehicles are beautifully restored, some are crudely painted, so modellers and historians may be better to look elsewhere for accurate colour scheme refrences. Fortunately the author does comment if the vehicle in a photograph has an inaccurate colour scheme.
