Norway 1940 The Forgotten Fiasco

Almost 2,000 British troops landed in Norway on 18 April 1940; on 2 May, the Royal Navy rescued 163 men from one of the worst planned operations of WW II. When the British landed, the Germans were already marching to meet them; these were the first British troops to understand the word "Blitzkrieg".
