Jimmie Stewart was a dedicated & brilliant soldier who started his military career in Ireland with the Gloucestershire Regiment before transferring to the Indian Army. His Indian career began with service on the North-West Frontier in 1883 & goes on to describe his many operations including the Chin Lushai expedition in Burma, Boxer Rising in China, Tibet Expedition and the East Africa campaign during the First World War.
