Although published in the United States this pamphlet covers all apsects of the Japanese use of field artillery, and includes examples from British experience as well.
It describes the organisation, basic doctrine and tactics of Japanese field artillery in detail (in offensive and defensive roles) and also gives data on Japanese artillery used.
The manual is well illustrated with no fewer than 117 photographs and drawings. It was published in late 1944 and so is authoritative right up to the end of hostilities with Japan.
