Rifles at Waterloo: The Experimental Corps of Riflemen at Waterloo
This is an extremely well produced publication narrating the fortunes of the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the 95th Rifles and two companies of its 3rd Battalion at Waterloo. It also describes the regiment's dress, equipment and arms as well as the type of man recruited and something of his training. The book contains some excellent drawings with photos of the battlefield as it is today. After Waterloo, in 1816, the 95th were taken out of the numbered regiments of the line and restyled The Rifle Brigade as a signal mark of honour for their part in the battle.
